About Rosie
From a young age Rosie (they/them) knew they wanted to pursue a life in the arts. After acting in countless community productions in middle school and high school, they graduated and moved to New York, where they studied acting at New York University. They attended the Stella Adler Studio of Acting for three years, and Stonestreet Studios for one semester. Since graduating from NYU in Fall 2023 with a BFA in Acting with Honors, they have continued to act, write, direct, and teach, splitting time between the San Francisco Bay Area, where they grew up, and New York, where they studied theatre. They prioritize collaboration on projects that reflect the lived experiences of LGBT+ folks, neurodivergent folks, BIPOC, and ethnic minorities. Reinvisioning Shakespeare and Oscar Wilde to reflect the global majority are particular areas of interest.
“I love acting. It is so much more real than life.”
Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray
